- Most words used at the Can Your Child Spell? contest will be from the (STUDY SOURCE). The spelling bee word lists can be accessed after registering for the contest via the “Study Source” link in your confirmation email.
- At the discretion of the pronouncer and judges, words may also be asked from Oxford English Dictionary AFTER the initial rounds.
- At the FINALS, words from the (STUDY SOURCE) or the Oxford English Dictionary may be asked.
- Words will be pronounced according to the diacritical markings.
- Spellers should use the (STUDY SOURCE) as a guide but also prepare from the Oxford English Dictionary.
